Workouts / Practice

  Pre-Season October 20th
  • Monday - Thursday 3:30 - 4:45 @ Pueblo wrestling room
  • Bring workout clothes and wrestling shoes
  • iPods with CLEAN music welcome - we want to rock out the room with some FUN, energizing workouts!
  • Emphasis will be on stance, changing levels, and shots, plus some good conditioning
  Official Season November 3 
  • Monday - Friday, 3:30 - 6:00 @ Pueblo Wrestling room
  • First meet scheduled for December 6th
Nutrition

Now is the time for everyone to clean up their diets.  Check you weight, know where you want to be and work towards it. Eat clean, no processed food, complex carbs (whole grain), etc.

Physicals /  Family ID 

Your physical should be turned into Mick Matuszak, LAHS Athletic Trainer.  If you are already participating in a fall sport, the one on file is enough.
Also, the Winter Sports are now available for registration on Family ID.  This registration is required for participation.  Please go into the system and register your athlete.

Mandatory Parent / Athlete Meeting - Wednesday November 5th @ 6:00 pm in Smith Auditorium
Parents and athletes are required to attend the Winter Sports Athletic meeting.  There will be a general session followed up by a sport specific session. 

Pushup-A-Thon - Mid-November
Once again, the wrestlers will be having a pushup-a-thon as the only fund raiser for wrestling this year.  The money raised helps with transportation, hotel and equipment for the season.  I will send out the forms as soon as I have them.
